God Is Available

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1 KJV).

God is our very present help in difficulty, pain, turmoil, grief, lack, questions, fear, sickness, and doubt. Our difficulties matter to God, because they are happening to us, His children.

He is, after all, Jehovah Shammah, The Lord Is There. He is everywhere, which means right here with me, right there with you, and right there with our prodigals, all at the same time. Anything else isn’t possible. It’s who He is—very present, available.

However, God isn’t just there, but He is also El Roi, God Who Sees Me. He always sees us—always. He never turns away, and He never stops seeing us.

And He is not just there, and He doesn’t just see us, but He is willing to help. Deuteronomy 33:26 tells us: “‘There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, Who rides the heavens to help you, And in His excellency on the clouds’” (NKJV).

And He isn’t just there, and He doesn’t just see us, and He isn’t just willing to help, but He is able to help, because is also El, God Of Power And Might; and He is El Shaddai, Almighty, All-Sufficient God.

When His righteous children cry out to Him in trouble, He hears and moves heaven and earth to set things right (Psalm 18:4-20).

Who better to help us? He is very present, He sees, He is able, and He is willing to be our help.

God is available, and He is our help … no matter the trouble!
