I’m a God snob!
My God is the one and only true living God!
My Jesus fulfilled all prophecies regarding the Messiah in the Old Testament … all of them … proving His being the very Son—the only begotten Son—of the one and only true God, something that would be statistically impossible for a mere human.
My God is all-powerful, creative God who created all things with a word … from scratch! Just look at all you can see that He’s created. Look at photos taken by powerful telescopes of things we can’t see otherwise. He is incredible!
I’m a God snob!
My God is unchanging. He’s perfect, and changing would make Him imperfect, which He can’t be (Matthew 5:48).
My God is truth, unchanging truth.
My God’s Word is alive and pertinent to all of life in every generation. It “is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12 NKJV). He even knows the thoughts and intents of our individual hearts!
My God is all-wise and all-knowing. His directions to us in His Word and personally are our best choices always.
My God has protected His Word to us through thousands of years, although people are rather constantly changing it, leaving things out, replacing words with nonequivalent words, changing meaning, adding their own thoughts and opinions. Still, in His sovereignty, despite man’s actions, He has preserved it.
I’m a God snob!
My God is sovereign and has all power, all authority, all sufficiency. There is no other being higher or effective against Him.
My God is merciful because of His great love for us, not giving us what we deserve.
I don’t have to beg my God to bless me or not to harm me. I don’t have to abuse my body or scream to get His attention. He hears and answers every cry from His righteous children. The other gods can’t do this, because they aren’t real.
My God has plans for me, for you, for us, for our prodigals … personal plans, good plans, perfect plans.
My God is longsuffering with me, with you, with us, with our prodigals, because He knows we are human and sometimes make decisions we shouldn’t and do things not in His perfect will for us.
My God has rescued and saved and helped former prodigals, those who at one time left relationship with Him to waste time in living ungodly lives. He rescued, saved, and helped them, including us, so we can be in relationship with Him and live with Him eternally.
My God is not willing that any should perish.
My God is love, not hate.
I’m a God snob!
My God has miraculously healed me and others I know.
My body has a physical reaction to my God’s presence often, and many times when I am not even thinking of Him. It’s like He just wants to remind me that He is with me, or to remind me to pay attention to what He is wanting to reveal to me in that moment, or to tell me that He is pleased. He continually reminds me of the reality of His existence and character.
I’m a God snob!
I could go on and on about proofs of my God’s being real, true, most high, best, only God, but still I would be sharing only a minuscule part of all my God is.
I’m a God snob!
