“I know that whatever God does, It shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, And nothing taken from it. God does it, that men should fear before Him” (Ecclesiastes 3:14 NKJV).
- “If He breaks a thing down, it cannot be rebuilt; If He imprisons a man, there can be no release. If He withholds the waters, they dry up; If He sends them out, they overwhelm the earth” (Job 12:14-15).
- He can set a door before us, “and no one can shut it” (Revelation 3:8).
- “Behold, I have received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it” (Numbers 23:20).
- “‘Indeed before the day was, I am He; And there is no one who can deliver out of My hand; I work, and who will reverse it?’” (Isaiah 43:13).
God has purpose for everything He does: “that men should fear before Him.” This is very good news! We do want our prodigals to fear before Him!
