Helpful Tools

Here you will not only find tools such as the three books God gave me to write and books I’ve read and can truly recommend, but information for other ways to connect to the Prayer for Prodigals ministry and for hosting a Prayer for Prodigals group in your local church. There are also articles specifically for parents of prodigals. I trust you will find helpful tools here for your journey loving and praying for your prodigal.

Fighting for Your Prodigal through Prayer: 365 Promises, Praises, and Prayers is a tool to help those of us who love and pray for prodigals to pray God’s Word back to Him and to pray for them in His perfect will. For each day of the year, there is a scriptural prayer combined with a scriptural promise and a name or attribute of God for praise to Him, a name or attribute that reveals His propensity to answer that day’s prayer. This practical tool also includes thematic promises and thematic prayers for different circumstances in the lives of prodigals.

Encouragement in the Waiting (For Your Prodigal to Return to God) is for those who feel discouraged by the lack of evidence of progress in your prodigal’s surrender to the Lord, for those who are exhausted by the spiritual battle. While you wait, it will help you find hope, help, healing, encouragement, and conscionable actions; learn more about who God is and what He will and will not do in the life of your prodigal; discover mighty-through-God weapons we have been given to use in this fight for their salvation; replace common lies of the enemy with the truth from God’s Word; and learn how peace and rest are possible in the prodigal-loving journey.

Trust God As (His Names and Attributes for Your Journey with a Prodigal) is a deep look into what the Bible reveals to us about some of God’s many names and attributes and how they apply to our journey of loving and praying for prodigals. We can trust God with our prodigals’ salvation because of who He is. The more we know the one and only God, the more we trust Him to save them. As you read this book, may you find yourself trusting God more, not only for your prodigal, but for every other part of your life, too.
