PROMISE to PRAY-ERS: “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts” (Zechariah 4:6 NKJV).
Let me encourage you with our promise for today. If you are like me, you sometimes have an overwhelming desire to fix things, to say things, to do whatever it takes to force your prodigal to make better choices, to live life a certain way, and to receive salvation. However, while in prayer, God reminded me of this promise. It is not in my own might, wisdom, knowledge, or ability to save my prodigal. That is all on God. My responsibilities are to love and to pray. Frankly, my efforts in trying to change people in general are quite ineffective, but the power of God can work the miracle needed, whether He uses me or sends someone else.
Keep praying, and let God be God in their lives! He has this; He is Faithful; we can trust Him!
