Our Father, during the chaos our world is presently experiencing, I want to cover my prodigal and others through prayer. I am asking You to open their eyes to realize the truths regarding this plague. Remind our prodigals of truths from Your word that they have been taught and have read for themselves, and cause them to know they are truth. Open the eyes of those “whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them” (2 Corinthians 4:4 NKJV).

I pray __________ will not think You don’t know what You’re talking about in Your word when You warn of these things; and don’t let him/her believe Your word is not true, because that will affect his/her choices today and for eternity. Cause him/her to realize that You do know the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10). Your word is true, and what You say will happen will happen. Stop Satan in what he is doing to keep __________ from knowing You are God, and help him/her to know the gospel is real hope, in this world and the one to come. Let him/her know that the things You told us will come to pass can come to pass in the snap of a finger. Let him/her not be lulled to sleep, be complacent, or fight for something that is not truth. I pray that instead of fearing, he/she will turn to You, the God of peace, our Jehovah Shalom. God of hope, fill _________ “with all joy and peace in believing, that [he/she] may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (Romans 15:13). Cause __________ to “come to [his/her] senses and escape the snare of the devil,” the lies of the devil, who has taken him/her captive to do his will (2 Timothy 2:26).

Father, send someone “to open [prodigals’] eyes, in order to turn them darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in [You]” (Acts 26:18). Draw prodigals back to Yourself during this chaos. Cause these uncertain times to result in a revival among all prodigals. Let them know You are the source of their peace, protect them, provide for them, and save them. In Jesus’s name I pray.
