Waiting for prodigals to be saved is hard, because we want God for them instead of life without God, because it is so much better, now and later.
Knowing they have free will to reject any and all that God has for them makes it harder.
They have free will, but remember: we have God.
We have God, who can change a heart and mind, reveal truth, love overwhelmingly and perfectly, and demand attention.
We have God, who is sovereign, all-powerful, everywhere, all-wise, able, always victorious, and aware.
We have God, who overcomes and has defeated death, hell, and the grave.
We have God, who tore the veil in two and provided salvation for all, no matter how evil and sinful.
We have God, who has a plan, a good and perfect plan, to bring them back to Himself.
We have God, who is “not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9 NKJV).
We have God!
thank you for always encouraging me as I wait on the Lord to move in the hearts of my prodigals. We do indeed have a loving Father with a perfect plan.
