God is truly on a level all by Himself! Satan likes to make people believe his power is either equal to God’s or close, but he is only a fallen angel, a created being. How can he be close to God in anything?

The Bible explains it.

There is No Equal

“‘To whom then will you liken Me, Or to whom shall I be equal?’ says the Holy One” (Isaiah 40:25).

“Among the gods there is none like You, O Lord; Nor are there any works like Your works” (Psalm 86:8).

“Who is like You, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders?” (Exodus 15:11).

“Therefore You are great, O Lord God. For there is none like You, nor is there any God besides You, according to all that we have heard with our ears” (2 Samuel 7:22).

“For who in the heavens can be compared to the Lord? Who among the sons of the mighty can be likened to the Lord?” (Psalm 89:6).

“Inasmuch as there is none like You, O Lord (You are great, and Your name is great in might)” (Jeremiah 10:6).

God Has All Power

“For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him” (Colossians 1:16).

“[Y]ou are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power” (Colossians 2:10).

“After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, “Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God!” (Revelation 19:1).

We can trust a God like this against every enemy, every scheme, every weapon. He is our almighty God!
