Five times. Jesus took bread, blessed it, broke it, and gave it five times.
Jesus took bread, blessed it, broke it, and gave it when He fed the 5,000 and when He fed the 4,000. He gave more than enough.
At the Last Supper, He took the bread, blessed it, broke it, and gave it to His disciples to eat as representing His broken body.
He took His human body at conception; the Father and Holy Spirit blessed Him at His baptism, and then He broke it and gave it at Calvary.
He did that for You, for our prodigals, and for me. He fulfills everything! When He promises, it will be done.
And when He provided for salvation, we can know that provision will never run out. There is enough for every person born, and if one more came, there would still be enough.
The fifth time was after He was resurrected. He took bread, blessed it, broke it, and gave it to the two disciples who traveled the road to Emmaus. This opened their eyes and made them realize He was no longer dead! (Luke 24:30-31).
We can trust this Savior!
That is what inspired this prayer starter.
PROMISE: “‘Who is like You, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders?’” (Exodus 15:11 NKJV).
PRAISE: El Shaddai, Almighty, All-Sufficient God
PRAYER: Our Father, I am “confident of this very thing, that” You have “begun a good work in” _______, even though I don’t see everything You have done and are doing, and I know You will finish the work You’ve begun (Philippians 1:6). Let Your perfect will be done in ________’s life. In Jesus’ name I pray.

Amen. April started with some raindrops, and I am grateful. Even in the uncertainty, the rollercoaster of emotions, and the wait in long-suffering, I still believe God. His Word does not return to Him void, and He spoke my son into existence. This means that God will absolutely finish what He has begun in Dru. Praise God! Amen! Thank you for this reminder. I needed it tonight. Be blessed!🙏🏾❤️
