Jehovah Shammah. The LORD Is There. Omnipresent God.
It’s always important to us that Jehovah Shammah is there with our prodigals. We take great comfort in knowing He will not only never leave us but will never leave them. He is always with them, no matter where they go and no matter what they say or do. It is who He is: everywhere; there.
But He is also here. Here. Here in the room with me.
Close your eyes and say it for yourself: “Here.” Stay there. Let Him make His presence known to you.
Right here with me. Hearing my prayers. Seeing me as I am. Seeing my joys, my strengths, my tears, my sorrows, my grief, my faith, my failures, my victories. Here. Loving me. Available.
Here. Always.
My son and I recently went to the planetarium of the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, and at the end of the show, they did a pan out from the Earth moving out into the portions of space that humans can only see with a very powerful telescope. At the end of the pan, the camera is so far into space that the Earth is no longer visible. God is there, too, but he is here. Right here.
He’s not just some God to whom we pray who exists somewhere beyond the roof, somewhere elusive, somewhere unknown, maybe even somewhere unreachable. He is there, too, but He is also here with me and there with you, in our very spaces, right up against us. Touchable, Feelable. Reachable. Present. Here.
Here.
Say it: “Here.”
Linger with Him for a while.
Here.
Here.

I like this! Very personal, A reminder that we are never alone. If Folks could get this it would change their life. ❤️
