What seems hard to us, difficult to us, impossible to us is not hard or difficult or impossible to God. “Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You” (Jeremiah 32:17). “But Jesus looked at them and said to them, ‘With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible’ ” (Matthew 19:26).

He is God Almighty, sovereign God, omnipotent God!

If it sometimes seems your prodigal cannot be saved, the God Who created your prodigal is being underestimated. Trust Him. He’s got them. He is working when we cannot see it.
